type='text'>

so i have finally sucumbed to the peer pressure of my fellow respectable 1ls and my desire to proscrastinate nad have decided to start a humble little blog of my own.
about me:
i decided to come to usc because it seemed like a more academic law school and my lsat was not high enough to get me into a better school...i have since discovered that 1) i would really like to be in nyc and 2) law schools don't seem to offer aid to transfer students...so i am stuck here, for better or worse, it seems. 3) law school is challenging, interesting, and painfully boring at the same time.

some observations about my recent experiences: law school involves a process of socialization, grinding the student body in what seems like a mill to create competition and train us for the adversarial process...i like to think of it as a bit of an academic boot camp, although i have never had any interest in joining the armed forces.

i am trying to get myself out of my current disapointment with this stage of my education and to get myself through finals into next year, where i look forward to taking classes that are at least somewhat more interesting. the struggle against apathy continues...

<img width='1'
